EUGENIA CHANDRIS, Vice President of Chandris Hotels (www.chandris.gr)
Eugenia Chandris started out as a trainee in the hospitality industry and then worked in her family's travel and hotel business. In 1985 she wrote the Venus Syndrome, a study of the female body from many view points -- medical, anthropological, physiological and holistic. It was one of the first books to explore why so many women deposit fat on their lower halves. She appeared on many radio and television shows including the The Morning Show with Regis Philbin. She is also the author of several articles on travel and on growing up Greek in London. She moved to Greece in 1987 and worked for 2 years as a consultant for international co-productions at ERT the State Broadcaster. Following that she formed her own television production company while returning to the hospitality industry. She is Vice President of Chandris Hotels and completed the group’s latest 5 star property in Thessaloniki Greece in 2010. She has been the British President of the British Hellenic Chamber of Commerce unti 2017. She has triplets, one boy and 2 girls, and is based in Athens with monthly trips to London, Corfu and Mykonos where she is also developing an estate. A frequent contributor to the Huffington Post US Edition, Eugenia is one of the founders of the Huffington Post Greece which opened in November of 2014.
