Conduct of the Annual Ordinary General Assembly and the Elections of the British Hellenic Chamber of Commerce
The Annual General Assembly of the British Hellenic Chamber of Commerce, was successfully held on Tuesday, 24th November 2020. For the first time in its 75-year-operation and given the unprecedented circumstances we are all experiencing, the 2020 Annual General Assembly was conducted remotely, by digital means.
In particular, more than 140 top executives of the biggest Greek companies on all sectors, members of the Chamber, had the chance to attend the 2020 digital General Assembly. The e-based voting procedure for the election of the 15 members of the new Board of Directors (10 Greek and 5 British nationals according to the Chamber’s Articles of Association), was digitally realised using ‘ZEUS’ (EDYTE) platform. A platform which ensures the integrity of the election results through cryptographic, sheer electronical methods, without breaching vote confidentiality.
According to the results announced after the completion of the voting proceedings by the Chairman of the Electoral Committee and the ‘Annual General Assembly’ Committee, the elected candidates to constitute the new Board of Directors in order of preference, are the following:

We would additionally like to inform you that the BoD suggested amendments to the Articles of Association, of the British Hellenic Chamber of Commerce have been approved. The Report of the Board of Directors for the year 2019 and the discharge of both the Board of Directors and the Auditors from any responsibility for 2019, have also been approved.
